Mary McCormack
Mary McCormack was an American actress, best known for her portrayals as a main character on TV shows such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Mary McCormack is famous for her role in the films 'Private parts and 'Deep Impact'' 'True Crime,' as well as 1408'. The daughter of a medical counselor and ice cream shop owner, McCormack hails from a family that has no connection to the entertainment field. McCormack attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the separation of her parents in 1990 she enrolled at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where she graduated with a degree of BA in comparative arts. Her professional career started at the young age of 12 when she starred in the stage version of a Christmas-themed opera called 'Amahl and The Night Visitor'. She continued to play in the theatre, and eventually landed roles on both the smaller and big screens. Presently, McCormack is recognized as one of the most flexible artists in Hollywood. She has three daughters who are with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
